The historic town of Tomar, which is home to the UNESCO listed Convento do Cristo, is approximately 10 minutes drive from the villa. Tomar is a popular and bustling town with a variety of supermarkets, health centres, hospital, schools, university, banks, pharmacies, builders' merchants, sports centres, bars, restaurants and cafes.

The closest airport to the property is situated at Lisbon, which is approximately one and a quarter hours by car. Lisbon airport is serviced by several low cost airlines which operate scheduled flights into and out of the United Kingdom and other European countries
