THE JALON AND ORBA VALLEYS

The Jalon Valley in particular, is home to sprawling and thriving vineyards that make wines sold throughout Europe, wines that you can sample at the local bodegas and buy at unbelievable cheap prices. Inland you are spoilt for choice with an array of restaurants serving both Spanish and International Cuisine, Tapas Bars, Bars offering live music and entertainment and best of all the prices are considerably less than what is charged on the nearby busy coastal resorts for eating out and drinks. You have all the necessary amenities on hand for shopping with large Supermarkets selling international produce, local bakeries, butchers, newsagents, gift shops and local markets. Despite its semi rural setting, access to this area remains easy, thanks to the AP-7 motorway being within 5-10 minutes, and both Alicante and Valencia airports being within an hour's drive.
