Reith is a pretty suburb of Kitzbühel just 10 mins drive from the town centre. Located at the foot of the Wilder Kaiser, Kitzbühel is famous for both its skiing and lifestyle and is just 75 km from Salzburg airport and 97 km from Innsbruck airport.
Kitzbühel is commonly referred to as a playground for the rich and famous because of the attractive, picture perfect colourful town, its pedestrianised streets lined with designer boutiques and the fabulous ski area. Recent lift improvements have vastly improved the skiing, of which there is 170km of slopes to enjoy and various freeride and off piste opportunities. It truly is a resort which caters for all levels of skier with a wide range of runs available to suit all skier. The ultimate challenge is the infamous "Streif" run where the world famous Hahnenkamm race happens. Every year Kitzbuhel hosts the annual World Cup alpine ski race which is regarded as the most demanding race course on the World Cup circuit. Skiers from all over the world gather to battle it out on the slopes, whilst the event draws crowds from far and wide and the atmosphere is electric with live DJ's and bands set in the town center.
