The last substantial transformation,occured at the end of '800, has given the property a moorish style. From the main entrance is the access at the ground floor where there are several rooms of different sizes , the cloister, and the kitchens. From this courtyard you get into the swimming pool with Roman steps. On the first floor there are also 10 large rooms. In the new wing, there is a large room enriched with paintings and stained glass. At the ground floor is another room, and in the upper 3 floors, served by lift, there are extra 14 rooms, and an area to be completed to host a wellness area. A large panoramic terrace opens up between the two structures, overlooking the pool below and which offers a great view of the valley and of the surrounding mountains . The whole area is surrounded by a large garden enriched by the presence of a tub with water lilies and fish, by a cave where you can hear the spring of water and by a green area equipped with a gazebo and a driveway leading to a church hosting a restored altar. The property also includes a plot of about 5 ha, 2 of whis is an olive grove and the rest if wood and where there are remains of ancient artifacts and traces of the Roman aqueduct of Formina. The story: In 1603, the Convent of the Capuchin friars was built in honor of St. Anthony of Padua. Subsequently, with the removal of the Friars, the facilities underwent several changes, but the one that gave a significant destination, was performed by the engineer Martinori, when, at the end of 1800, the old building was objec of restoration in Moorish style, transforming it into a private residence. The property was bought in 2003,professionalism and experience have allowerd to restore the old building and bring back the charm that time had cancelled. There was need to respect those places for what they had meant in the past and to restore the style acquired in a more modern time . Today, the restoration carried out , together with the sobriety of the original convent , makes the place refined and comfortable.
