La Sella has 7-8 towns and villages nearby, all within a few kilometres. The closest (1-2km) is Ondara which has a lot to offer, but is probably best known for its large shopping centre "La Marina", where you can buy everything from cars and clothing to TV's and groceries. Others villages locally include La Xara, Jesus Pobre and Pedreguer.

La Sella is situated approximately halfway in between Alicante (city) and Valencia, which both have their own international airport with direct routes to all major European cities- roughly one hour's drive from each city on the AP7 motorway. La Sella lies in the north end of Costa Blanca which is characterised by a beautiful, fertile and a diverse landscape and fortunate to have avoided the over developments found in other parts on the Costa Blanca and Spain.
