Thollon Les Memises is known locally as having the best panoramic view over lake Geneva (Lac Leman) of all villages. The view from the mountain top is as breathtaking in winter as it is in summer> We have never tired of the views even today, in fact we are not moving away we have another place in Thollon because it is so beautiful.


The location offers fantastic a base for access to the alps of Switzerland, Italy and of course France. On the door-step are wonderful walks into the mountains and the Village itself has its own ski-resort perfect for families, beginners and with the off-piste available experts too. In fact we are not moving from the village we have bought another place and selling this one as a result.

The apartment itself is a refurbished hotel and has unusually large rooms. This apartment uniquely has a very large terrace at the rear of the apartments where we used to allow the children to play, (safe for small children) safely as well as soak up the atmosphere and sun for ourselves.

The apartment layout is as so:

A large dining kitchen area with plenty of room for a dining area, sitting/TV area and kitchen area.
There are two balconies that come off the two french doors to the living area where views of the mountains and church at night are particularly pleasing.

Watching the lightening over Lake Geneva is one of my favourites in the summer.

Family Bathroom

There is a family bathroom with a bath and shower.

The Master bedroom

This room features builtin wardrobes, a balcony and an en-suite with shower.


The 2nd (Bed) Room

This doubles as 2nd room as you please or a bedroom. It opens out onto a large terrace overlooking views of the hill side.

The 3rd bedroom

We use the 3rd room as a bunk bed room but it could be adopted for other usage.

Entrance Hall

The entrance hall is substantial with plenty of room for coat hooks and shoe racks.
