When the current owner bought the property it was just a shell so it was modernised to their own design, and what a fantastic job they made of it.

Steps lead to the front door and once through the front door we come to the split level diner/lounge area. The diner is on the lower level and the striking aspect of this room is the two large windows maximising the light and airy atmosphere.

But it is the overall 'character' of the house which needs emphasizing with its thick stone walls, its slightly sloping floors that contain furniture that has had to be specially designed to stop sliding, its matted ceilings and the overall quality that is obvious throughout the house.
