The tourist town of Tiszafured is around 25km away and offers you all the amenities you would expect such as shops, banks, pubs and numerous restaurants. There is a local market twice a week in the town's central square where you can buy local produce. Tesco and Lidl supermarkets can also be found in the town.

Hortobagy national park is only 45 minutes away and is a great area to see the many species of birds and wildlife that are native to Hungary. You can also go on organised tours around the park which include wildlife, and the traditional farming methods used many years ago.A great day out for all the family.

The beautiful baroque style city of Eger is about 50 minutes away by car and offers nice cafes and restaurants, as well as the magnificent Basilica and castle.

Abádszalók is 12km travel, and has a great range of water sport activities including waterskiing, banana boat rides, waterslides and much more.
Or you can just relax on the lakeside beach and enjoy the summer sun.

Budapest is about 1 hour 30 minutes by car, and the airport about the same.

Although Debrecen city has an airport which can be reached in just over an hour and is serviced by "wizzair" direct from London's Luton Airport.
The City itself also has many shops, restaurants, and a large shopping mall.
