This cottage can be found in the Peteri lake protected Bird reserve in The Southern region of Hungary on the outskirts of Petofiszallas village.

Kiskunfélegyháza city is 14km away and is located in the middle of the Great Hungarian Plain, 130 kilometres (81 mi) southeast from Budapest via theM5 motorway and Highway 5,Budapest-Cegléd-Szeged railway line and railway lines to Szolnok,Kiskunhalas and Szentes also cross the town.
Here you will find many shops, supermarkets, restaurants and cafes.
The surrounding country is covered with vineyards, fruit gardens, and tobacco and corn fields.
To the South of the property are the lovely town of Kistelek and also the larger city of Szeged.
Today the inner city of Szeged has beautiful buildings and wide avenues. This is mainly due to the great flood of 1879, which literally wiped away the whole town (only 265 of the 5723 houses remained and 165 people died). Emperor Franz Joseph visited the town and promised that "Szeged will be more beautiful than it used to be". He kept his promise. During the next years a new, modern city emerged from the ruins, with palaces and wide streets.
