Pitigliano is a popular tourist destination thanks to the peculiarities of its historic center which allowed its inclusion in the list of the most beautiful villages in Italy.
We are pleased to offer for sale a House of the year thousand of 80 square meters, built, like all houses of Pitigliano, with bricks of Tuff; two levels, with street-level entry: first floor large living room with kitchen in masonry equipped (15 linear metres), with wood stove, two burner ceramic glass top and barbecue, washing machine, dishwasher and fridge. The cooker hood has a large steel flue pipe through the kitchen and heats the whole House, without the fan from restaurant to use the barbecue.
First floor: a bedroom and a study (guest room) an over scale equipped (if you want you can turn in a closet) and two bathrooms, one with shower and a walk-in closet.
There is central heating running with a pellet fireplace located in the bedroom with two engines (the chimney, the square, has an electronic control unit, remote control included, with which you can set the time by turning on and off all week, and in addition has the ability to install a modem in order to operate via a simple phone call), in the various rooms are air-heating grids.
The renovation of the House came to an end in July 2008, the House was virtually dismantled and reassembled (a job that lasted 10 months): floors; roof; new electrical system and under; new plumbing; video system with satellite and cable radio system in all rooms.
The floor is of 2.5 cm thick oak, with boards of various lengths (from 1 meter to 2 meters); the Windows are double glazed pvc wood to 8 inner tubes; kitchen worktop (15 linear metres) is cooked (floor of the Sforza castle of 1500); the great central chimney (about 1.90 x 1.80) has the Etruscan side panels (you may recognize the Salas although ruined by time) and Romanesque slabs where are visible the Celtic knots; the belief in the wall of the dining area has a door Liberty authentic, wood and glass, with incised figure of a woman (bought in Prague, we leave the House).
All materials are original to the House itself, but one of the large wooden beams of the stay that was replaced.
In the master bedroom the bed wall, which separates the bathroom area, has a closet bottom 4 doors for linen, where inside, on the ground floor, 2 double sockets are installed, as well as near the sink.
In the House there are three mezzanines, one very big and deep.
