The house is one of seven houses in the small hamlet of Le Croci so that the house is secluded but not isolated.  The village of Granaiola is 0.5 km away from the house and has a bar/restaurant and there is a local bus service to Bagni di Lucca.
The location of the property is excellent overlooking the convergence of the Serchio and Lima valleys. The entire area is fantastic for holidays with horse riding, skiing, tennis, walking paths, bike trails all very close as well as having Florence, Pisa, Siena and the Coast within an easy car distance.
