Charming manor house on the borders of the Gironde and the Dordogne. The property enjoys an ideal location, being an hour from Bordeaux and with proximity to Bergerac and St Emilion. The region is one of the most beautiful in Europe, with rolling hills of vineyards and deciduous forests. It has four distinct seasons, and the landscape in spring and autumn is spectacular. There is plenty of local interest - wine tasting in Pomerol, St Emilion and Bergerac, boating and fishing on the Dordogne river, and visiting the charming bastide towns of Sainte-Foy, Monsegur, Duras and Pellegrue with their impressive piazzas and fine architecture. The property lies on the southern range of hills which run along the Dordogne river valley. It is bounded by vineyards on three sides and by plum orchards on the south, and enjoys excellent views. The garage has space for two cars, and has a wood store adjacent with facilities for sawing and wood splitting. There is a second store room at the rear.

The wine cellar, still with its original concrete wine vats, is now used for storage. It leads out on to the covered south terrace, which is built above eight underground wine vats, capacity 100,000 litres, which capture rainwater for use in July and August.

A fully equipped laundry has been created between the garage and the wine cellar, also a separate boiler room with Viessmann 53 Kw boiler installed in 2011.
