This type of building is very characteristic for the South of the Bresse, the most eastern part of Burgundy. It is a very old farmhouse built in oak, brick and "pisé" a very solid original building technique using clay. Built around the 1750's and it has kept most of its original details. It is basically a long house or "longere" with a house and outbuildings connected.

From the landing also access to a attic space that could easily be converted in another bedroom.

The rest of the very large attic (more than 100m2) is accessed from the living room and could be converted into more bedrooms.

Outside:A large barn is connected to the house, the ceiling goes right up to the roof. this would be a great space to use as workshop. Also connected to the barn is a large carport with enough space to two cars.

The garden is mostly laid to lawn with has a romantic, feature pond with stature and fully grown trees and flowering bushes. At the back of the house with view on the garden is a covered terrace perfect to enjoy warm summer evenings.

The courtyard is gravelled and has a still working well is is closed by a iron fence.This a lovely example of an original farm house, renovated with care in keeping with its original character. The location is peaceful and the surrounding countryside is beautiful: rolling hills, deep forest and views on the Jura. Perfect for hiking, cycling or horseback riding.
