All rooms in the house have beautiful high wooden ceilings, with high-quality wood imported from Northern Europe, and under floor heating (maintenance free),every room has its own thermostate. Each room has pre-installation for air conditioning.
The villa has electricity, mains water and a septic tank. Solar panels provide hot water (tank with 300 liters). The house is very well insulated; with external walls up to 45 cm thick and the windows and doors have white aluminum frames with double glazing.
All covered terraces have a wonderful traditional roof and the terraces and the path around the house are paved with the famous traditional Santa Catarina tiles (ladrilhas).
The entire villa and surrounding area has a welcoming, friendly atmosphere. The villa is quietly situated on a dirt track, isolated, yet close to all major roads and the village of Moncarapacho with all facilities.
It is possible to construct a pool, but the beach is just 10 minutes away by car. Nice towns as Tavira and Olhão can as well be reached within 10 minutes. To the airport in Faro it is a half an hour drive.
