The subject property is located in the town of Mazamet, in the south of France, at the foot of the Black Mountains in Midi-Pyrenees. Mazamet is a small industrial town, with numerous establishments employing in wool-spinning and in the manufacture of swan skins and flannels, clothing for troops, hosiery and high quality leather.

Mazamet is ideally located within driving distance of a number of regional airports, being just 16km (10 miles) from the Castres Domestic Airport, 102 km (64 miles) from Beziers Cap d'Agde Airport, 50km (31 miles) of Carcassonne International Airport and 97 km (60 miles) from Toulouse Airport, which are regularly serviced by affordable flights to and from Paris and the UK.
