This cozy village house, built in 1800, is located in the beautiful medieval town of Albons, only 15 minutes (5 kms.) to Sant Martí de Ampurias, L'Escala and its beaches.

This three leveled house was completely reformed in 2007 and maintains its arched ceilings and newly beamed ceilings. The house is filled with natural sunlight as it has large windows on all sides. The reconstruction was done very well, using first class materials, especially the kitchen, bathrooms and ceiling.

The ground floor enters on to a large entrance hall, a lounge with fireplace and a guest bathroom. There is also a small patio.

The open office kitchen, a double bedroom and a bathroom are found on the first floor and on the second floor there are two double bedrooms and a bathroom. The view from the master bedroom is breathtaking. Heating is low-energy radiators.

Albons is a quiet village but has all the services within walking distance ( i.e bar, restaurant, grocery store and town hall). Definitely worth a visit.

About Albons :
Albons has been documented since the twelfth century with the earlier names such as Alburnos, Alburni and Albornà. The castle, also of the 12th century, is located in the center of the village and has been renovated several times. It now houses four apartments. In the beginning of the 14th century, Count of Ampurias made Albons a fortified town.
Today it has close to 800 inhabitants and is primarily an agricultural center.
