The property is located nearby the Balestrate village, in the Castellammare Gulf (Sicily). It is built in an ancient "baglio" (a Sicilian word referring to typical antique constructions, isolated in the countryside), which oldest parts date back to the XVII century. The "baglio" has been restored throughout the centuries, especially around the 1800s, when an important land reform took place. It lies within the old "Manostalla" feud, which belonged to the barons Chiarelli Rossotti di Pietralonga, and the building is also known as "Villa Chiarelli", because it was the barons' mansion.

There are two different entrances to the house, one by the ancient "baglio" (shared property) and the other through a private garden. The "casale" (country house) is easily reachable through asphalted roads and it's very nearby to the A29 motorway, which links the towns on the Northern coast of Sicily (Trapani, Palermo, Messina).

The property is composed by a large private garden of about 5,000 square metres plus a partially renovated two-storey building of about 450 square metres, which is composed by a huge flat and three warehouses.

It is about 90 square metres and is composed by a living room, two double bedrooms, a large storage room (which could be used as an additional bedroom), plus a kitchen, a bathroom and a laundry.
Two of the warehouses are old. In fact, they were built as storage rooms for wheat, olives etc. during the centuries. The oldest one is about 90 square metres with a beautiful column in the middle, and its ceiling is 7,50 metres high. The second one is directly linked to the "baglio".
