Full description:

This lovely 3 bed country house near Comares (4Kms from the village) has a private drive to ample parking space, just above the house. It is located just behind a little slope which protects the house from winds from the North, and it faces South East, with wonderful views over the Sierras (La Maroma mountain peak) and a partial view of the sea.

There are simple, low maintenance gardens on three sides, and an 10 x 5m pool, with a very deep end (the pool was built by a diver, in order to train in the deep end) but also a normal shallow end. There is a little outhouse at the far end of the garden (8m2) with electricity and shelving, used to store garden tools and furniture.

The house has a terrace that has been completely built into the house, forming an original and extremely attractive living room, which can be used in all weathers. This delightful living room (9.5 x 3m) has a glass patio door at either end and four huge semi-circular picture windows to frame that wonderful view and let in maximum light! There is also an additional area used as an office of 4.75 x 2m.

From the centre of the living room, two steps up leads into the kitchen/dining room, another spacious and highly attractive room, with the open plan, fully fitted kitchen to the left (a space of around 3 x 3m) and the dining room to the right (7 x 3m). This lovely room has a sloping ceiling with beams. To the far end of the dining room, a door leads into the master bedroom, Bedroom 1. This spacious room is 5.5 x 4m with two sets of windows and views over the pool terrace to the East, and to the South, plus a sizeable ensuite bathroom of 4 x 2m, with immaculate tiling and fittings, including double ‘his and her’ wash basins and a full length bath with shower overhead and shower screen.

To the rear of the dining room, one step up leads to a short corridor to left and right (3 x 1m). To the left, a door leads to Bedroom 2 (4 x 3m) with window to the side (driveway). Ahead is the family bathroom (3 x 3m with bath, overhead shower and shower screen, and double ‘his and her’ wash basins). And to the right a door leads into Bedroom 3 (4 x 3m) with a window to a rear patio, around the back of the house.

There is air conditioning in every room which keeps the house cool in the hot Summer days and cosy in the Wintertime. There are beams and sloping ceilings throughout and the roof has original Arabic style tiling.

Outside there is an ‘outdoor kitchen’ consisting of barbecue and outdoor sink.

The plot is around 21,000m2, although much of it is a steep slope, planted with many trees, running down to a little stream. There is a large sloping area just below the pool terrace which could be made accessible, via paths and terracing and it could easily be planted with tropical fruit and cytrus fruit trees. The plot benefits from its own well water, for the trees, plants and the pool, in addition to mains water.
