About The Villa
The original structure dates back to 1910-1912 and was built by a wealth family from Fasano in a neoclassical style on over one hectare - 2.5 acres - of land. In 2012 the villa was completely restructured to plans by the architect Pietro Capitaneo of Bari. Following this work, the villa is now composed of two sections: the historic body with an area of approximately 200 square metres and a detached annexe of 70 square metres. The underground level of both buildings has been set up as a service area: cellar, rooms for staff, changing rooms and bathrooms for guests using the pool, and utilities (tanks with groundwater for landscaping purposes, tanks for drinking water, autoclaves, electrical panels, laundry area). The rest of the estate is composed of gardens, a tennis court/football pitch, an outdoor kitchen with a dining area, a swimming pool and large areas for relaxing and entertaining. All the rooms have heating and air conditioning. Wi-Fi both indoors and outdoors.

Location
Selva di Fasano is part of the Municipality of Fasano, situated about 450 metres above sea level. It is 8 km from the town of Fasano, 68 km from Brindisi and 65 km from Bari.
Selva di Fasano is located in the high hills leading to Puglia's Murge plateau. The name Selva - meaning forest - is derived from the natural appearance of these places have maintained even today. Selva overlooks the territory of the trulli, Puglia's typical dwellings, and the built-up area of the village has many of these structures alongside elegant villas.
It is 15 km from the seaside area of Savelletri, known mainly for its quaint fishing harbour, with lighthouses, lights and about 300 moorings. It is also famous for its distinctive coastline, characterized by the presence of ancient constructions, referred to as "Case Bianche", on the reef near the sea, numerous fish shops, restaurants overlooking the reef, an 18-hole golf course and the Archaeological Park of Egnazia.
This territory is extremely ancient and goes back to prehistoric eras, but its history has been handed down to us through the artefacts of the Greeks and Romans. There are various prehistoric examples, such as the Dolmen of Montalbano and the various rock dwellings dotting the numerous "Lame" and "Gravine". Prehistory became history with the arrival of the Greeks and Romans, who further developed the small settlement of Egnathia, which flourished because one of the main Roman roads, the Via Appia-Traiana connecting Rome and Brindisi, went through it.
The hills of Selva, covered with local flora constituted by woods of oaks, holm-oaks, pines, chestnuts, cypresses, firs, olives, fig trees, carobs and walnuts, are characterized by a temperate climate and particularly wholesome air.
