Surrounding Area

The property is situated at the end of a quiet road just a short walk from the village centre. There is no passing traffic. It has extensive views over open countryside due to its elevated position.

Polemi is a charming, welcoming and very friendly village. Its elevated position gives it its own micro climate with relatively low humidity making the hot summers more acceptable. It is around 20 minutes drive from Paphos (with its International Airport) where you will find all services including hospitals, International schools and large supermarkets. The property also benefits from being close to Minthis Hills golf course. The village has direct bus connections to Paphos and Kanaviou and nearby bus connection to Polis.

The village has many amenities including some excellent tavernas, minimarkets, a bakery, hairdressers, wineries, a small motor garage, a florist and two banks (with ATM's). There are a number of historic churches and the Metochi cultural centre.
The village also has several schools including a secondary school.

Polemi Village has an annual festival night where entertainment and food is provided and which is well attended by locals and visitors from other outlying areas. In the spring, Polemi has a Tulip Festival when local fields come alive with beautiful wild Tulips.
