Great care and thought went into the restoration of the building. Plaster and lime walls were done in the old way, old bricks, stone floors, oak floors all have been saved and restored. The entire facade of the chateau has been re-pointed and joined with lime and special sand, leaving the original stones apparent. Old "fish scales" slates cover the well preserved roof.
