Full description:

La Foret sur Sevre is a small friendly village of around 700 inhabitants situated equidistant between Bressuire and La Chataignerie. There are two primary schools, two doctors, a pharmacy, bar/post office, hotel/restaurant, bakery, hairdresser, garage workshop and library. Within the village there is a sports stadium, football field, outdoor and indoor petanque pitches and a community centre. There are several sports clubs; football, basketball, netball, petanque and keep-fit.

There is a hotel/restaurant and the mobile pizza van visits the village twice a week. There are two supermarkets within 7 kms. The town of Bressuire, approx. 9 miles, has two large supermarkets, a hospital and the full range of other day to day commerces associated with a large town. The twice-weekly market is held on Tuesdays and Saturdays. There are several other large weekly markets within easy reach and the house is only 35 minutes from Europe's premier entertainment attraction of Puy du Fou.

The airports of Nantes, La Rochelle and Poitiers are all within 1.25 hours and the Atlantic coast is a similar distance. The ferry ports of St Malo and Caen are approx. 4 hrs drive making the home ideal for holidays, Long week-end breaks or for those who may need easy access to and from the UK.

The house

Built in the 1880's the property is a 3 bedroomed semi-detached stone house, situated within five minutes walk of all the village amenities. The house has been extensively renovated, with both the roof and oil fired central heating boiler having been replaced within the last five years.
