This 3-bed Normandy farmhouse is set in lovely countryside within easy reach of shops and the coast. There is a large garden with lovely views, as well as several adjoining barns with conversion potential. The property has an excellent letting track record and is just 40min from the ferry port.

The house retains many of its original features with beamed ceilings, terracotta tiles, oak floors and original fireplaces.

The large fitted kitchen has bags of character and has a wood burner for the colder months. The window overlooks the fields at the front of the house. The sitting room is light, airy and has also has views to the front of the house. There is also a utility room and shower room on the ground floor.

The larger town of St Lo is a 15min drive away. Here there are a good selection of shops, supermarkets, restaurants and a weekly market.

The peaceful sandy beaches of the west coast and the local historical towns of Carentan, Coutances and Bayeux are all within easy reach.

Being on the Cherboug Peninsula, you're never far away from the beach or a great seafood restaurant serving locally caught fish. Wide, sandy beaches, dapper little ports and seaside resorts and empty roads through peaceful countryside. There are also plenty of medieval abbeys and cathedrals and of course the D-Day landing beaches. The ferry ports at Cherbourg and Caen are 40mins and 1hr away, respectively.
