The sports facilities include an Olympic sized outdoor pool, an indoor heated pool, athletics tracks, racquetball and tennis courts. The centre also hosts various concerts through the year. There are numerous parks and plazas around the town centre and Ontinyent is surrounded by lovely countryside, mountains and natural parks. On the edge of town is a train station which connects to the town of Xativa - 15 minutes away and from there to all major cities.

Valencia airport is an hours drive and Alicante around 1 hour 15 minutes, both accessed by uncongested motorways. Gandia, the port and the beaches are a 45 minute drive. Oliva Nova Golf - 1 hour.

Ontinyent is the perfect place for a permanent comfortable family home and is a predominately Spanish speaking area with a small ex pat community of British, Dutch and Germans. Being further inland, villa prices are lower than at the coast, tend to have more spacious plots and a larger build for the price.
