It covers the area from the hills to the Danube River and Osam River, and is placed near the road connecting the towns of Pleven and Svishtov and also the main road Sofia-Pleven-Veliko Turnovo / Sofia-Pleven-Ruse.
Not far from the village of Stejerevo are located the region Kyuchek Bair and the localities "Piperkova fountain", "Izvorite", "Dimovi Kladentsi" and others.
Also very close to the village is the Town of Belene, where it's located the Belene Danube Archipelago consisting of 19 islands falls within the borders of the Municipality and the Park. One of them is Persin island - the largest Bulgarian Danube island, which the Natural Park was named after. There is bird-watching point on Golyaman Barzina Island; place for recreation and fishing; cycling route from Persina enterprise to Kaykoushta plant; fishermen settlement in the Hissarlaka locality.
The area is suitable for hunting as well as water sports and fishing, being next to the Osam River and only a few miles to the Danube River.
The coastal City of Varna with its famous beach resorts and international airport is about 135 miles away.
The village is located only 26 miles to the City of Pleven and approximately 100 miles to the capital City Sofia & International Sofia Airport, and about 90 miles away to the City of Bucharest (RO) and its International Airports "Otopeni" and "Baneasa".
The village provides good amenities for the day to day life, such as shops, cafe, town hall, post office, regular transport to nearby cities, towns and villages, etc, and it's just a short drive from the lovely port City of Svishtov, on the Danube River, one of the leading industrial and agricultural centers in Veliko Turnovo District. In the area there are presently 120 official archaeological, art, and architectural monuments of local and national significance. The Town Museum of History; the Ethnographic Museum; the Aleko Konstantinov House-Museum in which the heart of the great Bulgarian is preserved in a glass vessel, the Holy Trinity Church which is a most interesting architectural monument and many others.
The area is very calm and pleasant for living/relocating.
It's indeed a property with potential!
LEVSKI MUNICIPALITY & REGION
Levski Municipality is located in the central part of the Danube Plain (in the Touchenishko-Dolnoosamski region) and it is a constituent part of Pleven District. It is bounded to the north by the municipalities Nikopol and Belene, to the south - by Letnitza, to the east - by Svishtov and Pavlikeni, and to the west - by Pordim Municipality. Municipal center is Town of Levski. The terrain in the municipality is predominantly flat. The climate is moderate continental, favorable for grain and industrial crops as well as vegetable and fruit growing.
Historical monuments of national significance were discovered near the villages of Malchika, Izgrev and Strejerovo. The tumulus 2 miles from the village of Malchika is known for one of the earliest Latin inscriptions on the sacrificial altar dating from the 6th century BC. The ancient necropolis, the tumuli in the village of Izgrev and the rock in the Sveta Troitsa (Holy Trinity) locality northwest of the village of Stejerovo are also listed as finds of national significance.
The areas alongside the Osam River banks are very interesting. The places feature diverse flora and fauna. They are the natural habitat of waterfowl and migratory birds. The old riverbed is very well preserved on the land of the village of Balgarene.
PLEVEN DISTRICT & REGION
Pleven is the 7th most populous city in Bulgaria. Well known as a major economic centre of the Bulgarian Northwest and Central North and the 3rd largest city of Northern Bulgaria after Varna and Ruse. Located in the northern part of the country, it is the administrative centre of Pleven District, as well as of the subordinate Pleven Municipality.
Pleven is located in an agricultural region in the very heart of the Danubian Plain, the historical region of Moesia, surrounded by low limestone hills, the Pleven Heights. The city's central location in Northern Bulgaria defines its importance as a big administrative, economic, political, cultural and transport centre. Pleven is located about 100 miles away from the capital City of Sofia, approximately 195 miles west of the Bulgarian Black Sea Coast and about 30 miles south of the Danube River. The River Vit flows near the town and the tiny Tuchenitsa River crosses it.
The Pleven Regional Historical Museum is a very popular tourist attraction while the Svetlin Rusev Donative Exhibition, situated in the former public baths, exhibits works by Bulgarian artists as well as noted Western European art figures like Pablo Picasso, Salvador Dali, Renato Guttuso and many others. The Ivan Radoev Dramatic Theatre is the centre of theatrical life in Pleven.
Pleven is often regarded as an important centre of sports in Bulgaria. The sports school in Pleven is thought of as one of the most prominent in the country. Pleven is also famous for its Kaylaka (where the ruins of the Storgosia fortification can be found) and Skobelev parks. The later is home to the Pleven Panorama and is situated on the original location of the battle during the Russo-Turkish War.
The District of Pleven is crossed from south to north by the Rivers Iskar, Vit and Osam (in west-east order); the river valleys are separated by limestone plateaus.
One of the closest ski resort is in "Uzana" (pics below), the geographic center of Bulgaria, located at about 28 miles from Veliko Turnovo. There are several hotels in the resort which provide tourism opportunities and good conditions for relaxation among the quiet and calm atmosphere of the mountain throughout the year. The surrounding sites of Uzana are suitable for spaleology and rock climbing. There are possibilities for cultural tourism in the region. In the nearby open-air "Ethnographic Museum Etara" people can learn more about Bulgarian crafts. The "Sokolski Monastery" is situated a few miles away from Uzana.

Our properties are well maintained while they are being sold. We look after the garden, check the roof, and keep them in the conditions they are when reserved until they are fully paid and transferred to the new owner(s).
WE ARE ONE OF THE FIRST AGENCIES who created the PAY MONTHLY TERMS for the selling of properties.
