This leads through to the side entrance hall that gives access to the courtyard (with a wine cellar), and to the kitchen with a tiles floor, stone vaulted ceiling and a large stone sit in fireplace, and utility area.To the right of the main entrance hall is the living room with an oak floor, Renaissance stone fireplace, ornately painted beams and antique carved doors. To complete the ground floor there is a stone staircase in the tower, leading to a terrace.
On the first floor there are four bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, an office in the tower, and the library. This beautiful library of 70m2 was the workplace of famous zoologist Pierre-Paul Grassé, renowned for his expertise on termites. It has an oak floor, decorated ceiling beams, walnut bookshelves and mantelpiece, and a marble fireplace.
The second floor has 6 bedrooms,iincluding one in the tower, two bathrooms and an office in the second tower. All bedrooms have views over the Dordogne valley and river. Oil central heating.
