Of course Porto (1 hour away) is the second capital of Portugal that is famous for its wines, culture and historic sites. Getting to Vilar de Mouros: flying to Porto is the easiest way to get to Caminha. It takes about an hour to drive along an almost empty motorway with some spectacular views. BA, TAP, Easyjet & Ryanair fly to Porto airport. Ryanair also fly to Santiago de Compostela in Spain which 1.30h from the property. Bilbao and Santander ferry ports are 7hrs drive to the North.
