The entire town comes out to see everyone dressed to the nines and it always amazes everyone how so many limousines can park in and around the green. The high school graduation is held on the town green and once again the entire town comes out to witness and participate in the celebration. Madison takes pride in its traditions and supports its citizens. The town was settled in 1650.
If you are civic minded there are many volunteer boards and commissions you can sit on. This is a small town that takes pride in its town meetings. Everything goes to a town vote, so attend a meeting and vote-you are still participating in what happens in Madison.
As a property owner in Madison you have access to the Surf Club, which is only for town residents. The Surf Club is a 45 acre town owned park with 1200 sandy feet on the Long Island Sound.
