It lies due East of Florence and at a distance of one and a half hour's drive. It is 40 minutes' drive from Arezzo, 20 from Sansepolcro and 15 from Pieve S. Stefano. Together with two neighbouring farm houses, it is reached from the public road by a 1.5km farm track which continues up the hill behind the house a further kilometre to two more properties and thence on up to the Passo di Viamaggio.
