200 year old stone built Finca restored to a high standard 10 years ago and situated in possibly the best position in this beautiful area of the Marina Alta, with fantastic views of Sierra Bernia and all within a spectacular 9 kms drive of Benissa which is close to the popular fishing village of Moraira - sometimes known as the St. Tropez of Spain.

Also leading off the main room is a newly fitted kitchen with built-in dishwasher and 'fridge. The kitchen leads to a shady, enclosed patio area and a former kitchen garden. There is also a downstairs shower room with w.c., pedestal washbasin and a washing machine and freezer.

Stone stairs lead to the first floor with three double bedrooms, one with a Juliet balcony and one with an en-suite shower room. In addition, there is a family shower room.

The whole is furnished with antique and rustic-style furniture and original oil paintings, some of which are of the beautiful area around Marnes.

The Finca has oil-fired central heating, its own private water supply, solar panels and batteries with a back-up generator.

The terraced grounds have numerous olive, almond, carob and fig trees which are a delight when in blossom in the Spring. There are also some old grape vines and plenty of level, fertile land to grow vegetables and salad crops or it could be left as meadow land to attract the wild life.

There are several restaurants in nearby Pinos and along the mountain road to Jalon. The attractive town of Benissa is within a fifteen minute drive where many fiestas are held, including medieval markets, bull running, antique markets and an annual Food Festival. As well as the weekly market, there are several super markets including Iceland and Lidl.

The area is very popular with walkers and occasionally stages vintage car rallies and cycle races. It is a haven for wild life including eagles, buzzards, hoopoes, foxes, wild boar and deer and although quietly situated, is not isolated with friendly neighbours of various nationalities as well as Spanish.
