There are regular transport connections towards Russe, Byala and Sofia on every hour. The people are very friendly and helpful and there has not been any major crime for many years now.

The area around the village is hilly with many forests, wide plains and a wonderful and picturesque river curving through the valley. It is extremely pleasant for recreation, holidays, fishing, hunting or horse riding. The river does not cause any floods in the area as it lays about 50 60 m. lower than the village.
