Full description:

Large farm located between the towns of Tomar and Alvaiázere in the district of Leiria.

The farm has approximately 42 hectares of land (105 acres) mainly to the west of the farmhouse. The land is made up of flat arable meadows with olive orchards, mature oak and cork trees and some eucalyptus. There are 3 wells that provide irrigation and a large well and cistern close to the farmhouse.

Access to the farm is by a quiet country lane, in good condition, to the north-west of the farm. There is an old Roman road that defines the border to the west, not too far from the Roman ruins on the property. In the past the farmer has grown potatoes, corn, barley, etc. There are also fig, apple, orange, pear and many olive trees. At present the livestock consists of sheep, goats, pigs, chickens and turkeys for the table. The farmhouse has had new windows and doors installed in the past and comprises: Entrance hall, kitchen/diner, bathroom, corridor to bedrooms, four double bedrooms, lounge, sitting room, second bathroom, pantry, cellar and front terrace. There are also twelve other farm buildings not too far from the farmhouse, which include the barn, adega (wine store), pig-sty, chicken house, goat pen, cheesery, wood-store and more...
