Where is Beniarbeig?
From Alicante or Valencia follow the AP7 and exit junction 62 signposted Javea and Denia, Beniarbeig is a town in Alicante, Valencia, Spain. Located in the northeast of the province of Alicante, in the region of Marina Alta.
Beniarbeig is located between the valley of the Rectory and the Marquis of Denia, in the foot of the Sierra de Segària and Gerona crossed the river, which divides the town in two.
The closest towns to which are accessible from Beniarbeig are Ondara, El Vergel, Els Poblets on the coast. Inland Sanet Y Negrals, Benimeli, Ráfol of Almunia, Sagra, Tormos, Orba, to the south, and 4 km to Pedreguer.
The economy depends on the cultivation of orange. There are also olive and pine trees. Recent years has diversified into the construction and services. Many of the latter work outside the village, coastal towns of the region.

10 minutes by car you have a wide choice of beaches which are all BLUE FLAG which means they are safe to swim in. A variety of water sports in designated sections such as paddle surfing, kite surfing, surfing, kayaking, canoeing, and for the beach lover who likes peace and quiet there are literally kilometres of sand to sun bath on.
Les Rotes is a nature reserve with no boats aloud and has a variety of sea life to see. Snorkelling and scuba diving is very popular in this section of Denia this part of the coast is protected including the natural dunes, caves, plants and wildlife. A foot path allows you walk from Denia marina all the way to the lighthouse which is a few kilometres, the majority is flat and there is wheel chair access. Along this route are some traditional restaurants and bars so refreshments along the way make it a very pleasant walk.
Because of the length of the beaches in Denia they never get overcrowded. Popular family beaches with the European blue flag for quality and cleanness are Les Deveses Les Marines, Les Bovetes and Els Palmars. All patrolled by lifeguards during the summer months. These beaches are also equipped with foot showers, sunbeds and sunshades to hire.
All sorts of beach activities are available, dinghies and pedaloes as well as sailboats to hire. Set back from the sea there are volleyball nets.
The clean and clear waters make it a perfect place for scuba diving.
Golf- La Sella Golf Resort
Spanish world class golfer Jose Maria Olazabal designed La Sella close to La Jara, Jesus Pobre and Denia. Designed in 1990 it offers a demanding 18 hole golf course and a driving range with over 20 bays. Directions - Leave at exit 62 of the autopista AP-7 and head in direction towards Denia and take a right to La Xara and Jesus Pobre.
A wide choice of places to go riding, Ondara has a large equestrian centre and Oliva Nova has the international competitions.
The Lady Elisabeth in Javea and Jalon provide a coach service to pick up at various locations. They have two main schools, junior and senior.
