The Course

Founded in 1993 and redeveloped in 2007 the course extends to 6,163 yards off the back tees. This truly natural traditional par 71 course with its meadow grass greens was sculpted from farmland using the natural contours and irrigation. The cost of upkeep and maintenance is relatively low compared to other courses due to its design. The name 'Dublin Mountain' refers to its location and not its substance and contrary to expectations it is almost a plateau within the surrounding mountains with spectacular (360 degree) views. The Club House
Designed for ease of management the clubhouse (approx. 162sq.mts. - 1749 sq.ft.) built in 2007 has a reception area, offices, restaurant and kitchen. Separately there are ladies and gents changing areas and a committee room.

Outbuildings
There is a range of traditional shedding which is used for machinery storage and as a workshop. 'The upstairs loft is a disused living area now storage. The lean to side of one shed was converted to a two bedroom staff apartment.

Membership
In pre-recessionary times the club boasted a membership of over 700 and strong green fee revenue from the main nearby densely populated Dublin suburbs. In recent years the membership numbers have reduced considerably.

The Business
Like most courses the collapse in green fee revenue and dwindling membership has seen the severe reduction in revenue however with golf clubs reporting a general recovery and with the renewed optimism in the economy in general there is considerable potential to increase revenues.
