I had a look at the site on Friday and in principle a dwelling could be acceptable on the site. However, this would be dependent upon design, highways and amenity (overlooking etc) issues. I would steer you towards a smaller dwelling so as not to appear cramped on the site and to give consideration as to (any) first floor windows that could overlook neighbours (any significant landscape features that would help address overlooking should be retained). Without more detailed plans then I cannot comment any further.
I would draw your attention to the Council's Play space policy which requires all new dwellings to contribute to play/sports areas in the area. This payment is based on the parish and the number of bedrooms. For example under the current figures a 2 bed house in Felixstowe would have to contribute £1014.
