Marsh Hall is situated within the Conservation Area in the heart of Pevensey village, with views towards the 13th century St Nicolas Parish Church and Pevensey Castle. Pevensey has three public houses, whilst the nearby village of Westham has a post office/general store, primary school and mainline station, with services to Eastbourne, Lewes and London.
There is an excellent selection of schools in the area including Eastbourne College, St Bedes, Moira House and St Andrews. The coastal, business and entertainment centre of Eastbourne, lies some 5 miles to the south, and provides an extensive range of shopping and recreational facilities. Sovereign Harbour, one of the largest marinas in Europe, is situated about 2.5 miles to the east of Eastbourne.
Westham and Pevensey station is about 0.5 a mile, whilst the historic town of Battle is some 11 miles to the northeast. The A27/A22 is within easy reach, and connects with the A23/M23 and the national motorway network. The historic county town of Lewes lies about 16 miles to the west.

Marsh Hall is approached from Church Lane via wooden entrance gates, which give way to the property’s private driveway leading to a wide parking area. Adjacent to the parking area there is a lawn with a summerhouse and garage block to one side, providing garaging for three cars. The gardens are a particular feature of the property and are enclosed in part by old flint walls. They are laid principally to lawn, with numerous mature plants and trees, and are divided into a number of “rooms”.
To the eastern side of the gardens is a productive kitchen garden, beyond which there is a further area of garden. There is also a separate vehicular access to the south of Church Lane and a drive through a farm gate, giving access to the paddock and wooded area to the south of the house. About 2.25 acres.
