Full description

Calling all first time buyers! This is your chance to buy a rarely available one bedroom house with a cosy cottage feel. This charming property combines period features with attractive modern touches and benefits from a front garden and rear courtyard.

For the same price of some flats in this area, you can buy this freehold house and you won’t have to ever worry about leases, maintenance and ground rent costs.

Situated in a quiet spot yet within close proximity to Lewes Roads amenities such as Sainsbury’s, an M&S local, an abundance of eateries and the Pavilion retail park, this is an excellent example of a property providing that all important location, location, location.

If you buy this house, all you will need to do is move in and plug the kettle in as its in good condition throughout, with the kitchen having been upgraded and double glazing being installed within the past few years. The property also benefits from central heating and a modern bathroom.

With no ongoing chain, you could easily be in enjoying Christmas in your new home cosied up in front of the wood burning stove, perfect for when those cold winter nights kick in.

What the Owner says:

When we first started looking for a property in Brighton we were busy looking at a wide variety of flats, simply because we had no idea we could get a whole house for our money! We love owning the whole freehold because we’re not bound by a lease or have to pay maintenance or ground rent to anyone; it’s all up to us!
We fell in love with the cottage style of this house and all the character it has. It really is one of its kind. Popes Folly is a great place to live, you have everything you need right on your doorstep yet its tucked away in a no through road so it’s pretty quiet and there is parking right outside. Shops are literally a couple of minutes walk away, plus the city centre and station are also walkable distance or a quick ride on the regular bus services.
