At the roundabout and Ashby bypass, take the second exit sign-posted to Ticknall via Smisby. Continue past Smisby into the centre of Ticknall village, turning right at the T-junction onto the A514, sign-posted to Melbourne. Continue through Ticknall on the A514 to Stanton-by-Bridge, turning left at the T-junction over the historic Swarkestone bridge causeway to Swarkestone village. Turn left after the Crewe and Harpur public house onto the A5132 sign-posted to Barrow-upon-Trent, remaining on the village bypass towards Willington. The property is located approximately half a mile from Barrow-upon-Trent village centre on the right hand side.

Continue for approximately 4 miles, taking the A514 exit south of Derby and at the overpass roundabout, turn first left onto the A514 and right onto the A5132 via Barrow-upon-Trent village where The Parsonage is located shortly thereafter on the right hand side.
