Bristol and Cardiff are just 20 minutes from the house as well, and with good rail links, and the M4 just five minutes away, access to London is also straightforward.
We have found it very good for commuting from here and it is also convenient for getting to various airports. It only takes us one hour and 25 minutes to reach Heathrow, and three quarters of an hour to reach both Bristol and Cardiff airports.
The market towns of Usk and Abergavenny are both within a 30 minute drive, while the Celtic Manor Golf Courses, scene of the recent Ryder Cup, are just 4 miles away.
From Cardiff, Junction 30 of the M4, proceed in an easterly direction for 12 miles. Take the slip road at Junction 24, and take the right hand lane. On the roundabout, take the second exit onto the A48 (Chepstow Road) and proceed for 2.9 miles, travelling through Langstone. Pass the Foresters Oaks public house on the right and take the second left hand turn onto a country lane.
