DIRECTIONS 
From Totnes take the A381 Western Bypass towards Kingsbridge and on leaving Harbertonford take the next turning left to Washbourne and Cornworthy. Cornworthy is of Saxon origins and is recorded in the Doomsday book. There is an Augustinian Priory built 1230 and run by Augustinian nuns until the dissolution in 1537.
