To The Outside - 'Cherry Cottage' is actually back to front. That is that when you drive up the blocked paved drive passed two sets of wrought iron remote gates and parking side-bay, you pass the side of the house and drive onto a large forecourt area with parking for easily five or more in front of the main 'front' entrance to the house. Here there is additional parking adjacent to the large double garage (the second garage). Next to this a very pleasant garden area central to which is the cherry tree. Paths take you around to the main gardens as well as a fairly extensive pressed concrete patio area which, being ever so slightly raised, allows a great view down this established, manicured garden.

To Find 'Cherry Cottage' - Sat Nav: CH43 9TB. Wexford Road is to be found off Bidston Road. Birkenhead School stands opposite and the TA centre is on the corner. Follow the road round about 200m and 'Cherry Cottage' perimeter and gates will be seen. You may just see, over the wall, the house too.
