Restormel Borough Council granted planning permission (Ref.04/00045) for the conversion of the Surf Beach Hotel, 14 Esplanade Road, Newquay, into four holiday apartments and one residential apartment on 18th March 2004. Finally the holiday letting only restriction upon the existing appartments was lifted under application number PA11/05043 on the 17/02/12.
