Full description

It is not easy to find a home that offers the best of both worlds, with tranquillity but alongside this the convenience of the needs of day to day living available close by. Situated in a quiet lane, as you drive up the deep driveway through the four bar gate you can see it is positioned proudly within the plot. This home already starts to charm you as it delivers on so many levels, being elegant in style but of a more modern age that removes the maintenance and demands of houses within a certain period. The design flows from the downstairs rooms to the 1st floor that not only makes complete sense but also gives the property the space you require and the warmth that makes a home a home.

If you wish to just simply move into a home and relax, the condition that the current owners present this beautiful four bedroom home allows you to do just that. From the wonderful kitchen that then leads onto the utility for those practical needs to the spacious lounge, dining room and study you are excellently provided for. If you follow the floor plans it shows you it does not end here, there is so much more that this home provides you with.

The gardens shape round the home to provide you areas for different occasions, from a relaxed raised terrace to the rear which then links beautifully to the side garden which is sited and styled for those family gatherings and summer barbecues. It is also a spot to just simply enjoy the scenery surrounding you which is blessed with stunning views of countryside and the historical Carisbrooke Castle and beyond which just adds to the charm and reminds you of the wonderful lifestyle feel of the home.

We believe it is home and a lifestyle on offer here and whatever your motivation to make your own move, be the family growing, a family to come back to or just to have the trappings of space and warmth we believe a visit is needed to appreciate the house in all its glory is a must.

What the Owner says:

After previously living in a picture postcard 17th Century cottage for 30 years, this home was a change of direction for us. But once inside we were sold on the space and light accommodation this house had. The big lounge suited us and we liked the fact the garden was easy to maintain, though we have vastly improved it to incorporate a couple of patio areas where we sit and relax with a bottle of wine. We have not had to do much inside other than decorate throughout, so the house is fairly maintenance free.

The double garage is perfect for our classic car and with the stunning view of the Castle we have an ever changing landscape to enjoy.
To make life easier for the new owners we are offering appliances in the kitchen which include dishwasher and the fridge freezer. The range cooker and the hot tub are available subject to separate negotiation.
