Our View

Owners and visitors alike can take advantage of the many features of the area to include walking, one of the Munros is nearby. The croft itself overlooks several Munros including An Teallach and The fisherfields Forest's Beinn Dearg Mor. Regular wildlife visitors to the area include porpoises, seals, otters, pine-martins, fox and red deer. Golden Eagles can often be seen soaring above the croft. The little Loch Broom can be explored by boat, kayak and sailing boats. There is river and loch fishing nearby. The following quote was taken from The Guardian on May 2010 ' Perched on the Scoraig Peninsular by the shores of a sea loch Badralloch is one of Scotland's remotest and most picturesque camp sites. There are small open fields and a handful of pitches artfully hidden away in gorse where you can keep an eye out for red squirrels, pine-martins, red deer and eagles. Mountain bike, kayak and sail boat are all for hire on the site and there is a wonderful gas lit bothy to hide in should the weather turn'. The croft has been awarded the Green Tourism Gold Award and voted in the top three within the publication Tiny Campsites. The croft has also been featured in the Rough Guide to Camping as well as Cool Camping in Scotland.
