From Widecombe village centre, take the road signposted for Buckland and Dartmeet. Proceed for just over a mile and turn right at Eastern Lane Cross, signposted Postbridge/Princetown/Moretonhampstead. After a short distance, take the first left at Jordan Cross, signposted Jordan/Shallowford. Continue down this lane for just under half a mile, and the entrance to The Goose House will be seen on the right, with a pair of wooden five-bar gates recessed in the driveway
