DIRECTIONS
From Edinburgh or the south take the A702 towards Biggar and in the town centre turn north onto the
B7016 signed to Carnwath. Loaningdale is located on the right hand side of the road through the
signed gates along a pretty driveway to the house.

Loaningdale House, which was built in the mid nineteenth century, is an interesting and spacious
traditional country house with generously proportioned rooms arranged over two main floors with an
extensive stable courtyard which has been incorporated into the main accommodation. The house
retains a host of period features from cornicing in some rooms, charming fireplaces and an interesting
tower.
More modern buildings are attached to the east side of the house incorporating a gymnasium, work
