Location
Edmondsham is a village in the county of Dorset in southern England. It is situated two miles north west of Verwood and ten miles north of Bournemouth. It is sited near the source of a small stream which flows into the River Allen, surrounded by woods and countryside. Edmondsham is famous for its open gardens at Edmondsham House which is a splendid Tudor Manor House built in 1589. The village also has St Nicholas Church, an estate church of medieval origin. The three bells in the tower date back to the 1600’s. Edmondsham appearing as ‘Amedesham’ in the 1086 Domesday Book, the name simply means ‘homestead or enclosure belonging to a man named Eadmod or Eadmund’, from an old English personal name and ‘ham’ for homestead. One of the village features is the unique village pump, a cast iron mechanism with a fly-wheel. The village also has a nearby fishing lake containing a large stock of fish, open for use to licensed anglers.

Gardens and Grounds
The property is approached via a gravel driveway with parking for several vehicle and leads to the double garage. The front garden is well stocked with trees and shrubs, timber shed and concealed oil storage tank. The side gate leads to the rear garden which is a stunning feature of the property, predominantly laid to lawn with well stocked borders and mature trees, attractive circular stone and pebble feature. The rear garden adjoins open farmland and has scenic countryside views. The second area is the courtyard garden with flag stone patio area and raised gazebo ideal for 'Al Fresco' dining, well stocked shrub and tree borders bound by low brick walling. There is also approximately 1 acre of meadow/recreational space owned jointly by the 5 properties.
