Full description

Tenure: Freehold

Sunny summer days spent at the beach, Autumn afternoons exploring the countryside and the winter chill warmed by a log burner in a country cottage. With year-round sunsets to be enjoyed with friends and family, this is an opportunity not to pass up. Pull up a chair, sit beside the log burner and take in the view of the sea. Full of character, this unique cottage has lots of features such as wooden panelling that surrounds the windows and high ceilings. The lounge/diner is a good size but still retains a cosy feel. There is also a separate kitchen that has stunning views towards the headland at The Needles.

Bedroom 1 also has wooden panelling and a sea view and there is an en-suite shower for washing off after a day at the beach. Bedroom 2 has high ceilings and faces the private rear garden, furthermore, it has its own en-suite bathroom which is perfect for children to be placed in before bed!

If cooking inside is not your thing, then set up a barbecue and take advantage of the views that few people get to see from this angle. Enjoy the position of being high above The Solent and look down over one of England's historical landmarks. There is a large car park to be shared with the five cottages here and this home comes with use of the Headon Hall Estate so you can enjoy exploring the private grounds that lead over to the Headon Warren. Some of the most spectacular views on the Island are here and to be enjoyed with a privileged few.

What the Owner says:

I first spotted one cottage and fell in love with the charm, character and location, enjoying bringing family here and wandering around the estate and down to the beach.

As time went on, I acquired 3 others along the row and they have been successfully let out providing a good income. Adding a few modern touches such as the facility to have broadband has just been the finishing touch. With Yarmouth only a few minutes by car its easy to get a ferry link to the mainland or just pop out for a good meal in a local pub.
