We were already living in Chigwell, so we knew the area quite well. We had always wanted to build our own home. So when this property became available, during 1998, we had no hesitation in buying it.

We finally moved in during 2000 following building the home to our own specifications. What we love about the property is the sense of spaciousness you get throughout the home and when family come to stay, the second floor comes into its own and is a really useful guest suite with three bedrooms, a sitting area and shower room giving visitors a degree of privacy.

We have enjoyed the privacy provided by the secluded grounds that approach 1.5 acres (stls). We have a long treelined and gated drive creating an impressive entrance to the property and as parking was important to us, we created parking to several cars and ample turning area.
