The house, which is of handsome proportions, is constructed of brick and stone with white painted elevations under a tiled roof. It stands centrally within beautiful grounds which extend down to the River Dee with far reaching views across the surrounding countryside and hills. Glandwr is believed to date from circa 1630 and was originally built as a farmhouse tending to the surrounding land. Over the years the property has been extended and modified and more recently refurbished between 1982 and 1985 by the current owner to create a substantial family house.
